Ep.53
Joanna's Bday at Town.
It's funny, I'm not one to dislike people. I tend to get along well with others, I'm passive and I usually give people more than one chance before I have an impression of them.
I can honestly say, there are two people in this city that I cannot stand. And that says a lot about them coming from me.
This has nothing to do with Joanna and her birthday,
but I did come to that realization while reaching over a table to grab the drink menu.

Ep.49

I don't know if it's just me
but I don't think clubbing is the same anymore.
Maybe I'm not going to the right places
Or maybe it's cause I'm not with the usual crazy people I used to hang with,
But lately it's just been blah.
Went to Klutch last night.
Formerly Prive/Opium.
It was better as Prive. The Opium part of the club was closed
but I don't think clubbing is the same anymore.

I woke up even later today.
Nearly 4.
Wasted the day sleeping.
But it's like I said yesterday.

Ep.48
Last night could have easily been a total waste of a night.
But it set up plans for tonight
and I was out of my house, which on a Friday night, is always a plus.
Went to a getty in Brickell,
although we never made it to the actual getty because of lovely Palmetto Traffic.
I'm getting tired of that stupid highway!!!
We were stuck for an hour from the Don Shula merging into the palmetto,
all to get off on 79th and Bird at 1am.
By the time we made it to Downtown, everyone was heading to Transit Lounge.
And then the rain was the determining factor to leave home early.
3 rounds of drop-offs later, and I was home again.
However, getting home at 4:30am
resulted to sleeping in 'til late Saturday afternoon.
Good morning to all.

Ep.47
Everything needs to be in bloom.
Speaking of Spring,
I did a lot of Spring office cleaning today at work.
Unfortunately, it wasn't my office,
which is the one that definitely needs organizing.
Oh well, the boss and co-workers shall be happy come Monday.

Ep.44
I hate group work.
I believed I mentioned it in my second post, my first day of class this semester.
Today I met with my group.[Joanna and some dumb guy]
Conveniently for the dumb guy, his laptop ran out of battery
so he sat, no no, laid on the couches of the break room
while Joanna and I brainstormed ideas and googled images and samples for our PSA.
This guy is beginning to piss me off.
Our idea for the moment is this:
Money is faster and more efficient to send than donated items during a national disaster.
Picture: money shaped as a paper plane, flying over to Haiti, Box of cans running, losing cans on the way there. Paper plane is leading the race.
Don't know how we're gonna get that on paper exactly but that's where my self taught photoshop skills come in play.
Lets see how this ad turns out considering it's due Thursday.

Ep.43
Put my financial aid money to use today.
Bought myself a laptop.
I'm thrilled with it.
To some extent I kind of just wanted to keep my money there and not spend it.
But then I thought about it again, and although it's wise to save money,
what's the point of having it if you don't use it.
Money enjoyed wasted is money well spent.

Ep.42
Happy Hallmark Day, Love Day, Single's Awareness Day to all.
Happy Valentine's Day.
Happy Valentine's Day.
Nothing special, but some sleeping in
a mean grilled-cheese
and a nice salmon dinner mom cooked for dad, adrian, and myself.
Love comes in different forms.
And for this one, I'm thankful.

Ep.41
Juan and I went out last night (Friday)It had been a while since we'd gone out partying together.
It was unfortunately, unsuccessful.
But today, upon talking to an old friend,
I discovered a new place I want to check out
Up in Hallandale beach at Gulfstream.
MI-VI will be my next adventure for a night.
Tonight I headed out to the Brickell Irish Pub with Gaby and some of her friends.
(I'm obviously writing this post-dated)
It was fun. A different crowd.
Definitely something I need.
A house party around our hood ended the night.
And the same incentive was placed forth on the table.
Better get to it.

Ep.40
Last night, Tika got hit by a car.
Poor little thing.
I witnessed the whole thing,
and as I was trying to go to sleep,
it all replayed in my head like a broken record.
I ran to her, to try to get her to stop moving
and her initial reaction was to bite me.
I didnt feel the pain then, just the feeling of her gnawing at my thumb.
I was in shock.
And poor little Tika... ugh.
They put her to sleep this morning.
Her pelvic bones were crushed and it would take too many surgeries
and too much money to fix them,
and the chances of her walking normal were slim
not to mention, the pain she would always be in.
I have a swollen hand to remember the night.
It hurts.
Can't write, cant put pressure on it.
I just wish none of it would have happened.

In fact, some weirdo had his eyes fixated on me as I was making my way to the parking garage.
If only he would've been good looking.
Oh well.

If only he would've been good looking.
Oh well.
Charro loves it too! <3>

Ep.35
Super Bowl XLIV
What a day.
Saint fans are probably the most insane fans I've ever come across.
Everyone was so friendly.
Colts, Saints,
all where there simply to watch a good game
and root for their team.
What a great atmosphere!
I witnessed the New Orleans 2nd lining ritual.
Umbrellas, music, jazz bands.
"Oh when the Saints, go marching in."
They definitely have a great outlook on life.
It was inspiring.
The day wasn't as bad as I thought it would be.
Definitely had it's pay offs!

But even though the extra cash is always nice...

Ep.34
I feel different.
It's so strange, when nearly everything is the same
all but one thing,
that I can still feel different.
I cut nearly 12 inches from the front.
It's layered.
I needed this.
I came across another incentive today.
Let's see how far it takes me, how much it pushes me.
Off to rest for a long day of Super Bowl festivities.
And by festivities, I don't mean drinking, BBQ-ing and partying -
I mean work.
I wonder how many more times that word will come up in my blogs.

Ep.31
When I was a few years younger, I always found the typical guy question "so why are you single?" as some sort of compliment.
However, a part of me always knew that question was kind of redundant.
To hear it now, I find it hard to find the compliment in it.
It's like saying "So what's wrong with you. Something must be wrong if you're single."
Apparently the fact that you have a CHOICE in being single isn't ever considered.
I'm single simply because something is wrong with me.
Pft! RIIIIGHHHTT!
The question within itself is dumb.
The reasoning behind it, well that's even more idiotic.
-"So how are the guys treating you?"
I should just make a list of all the stupid questions ever asked.
At least the ones that are used in attempts to sound like a pick-up-line incognito.
There's a book idea....not!
His face can probably reflect the same way I feel right about now, in reference to the above.
Guys are just dumb.

Ep.29
After 22 years of existence, I get rain boots and put them to use. You'd think more people would wear them when it rains. They really are great.
My $2.50 umbrella came in handy today too. I find it ironic that its print is what it is, considering you only use it when its dark and gloomy.
